First Look: Ulana at Ward Village – a new chapter begins

After years of planning and anticipation, Ulana at Ward Village is finally welcoming its very first homeowners—and I had the joy of walking through one of the units recently with my client and first-time homebuyer who’s been dreaming of this moment since he secured his soon-to-be home in 2021. What a full-circle experience!

Ulana is a 41-story residential tower built specifically for local residents. Howard Hughes, the developer of Ulana and the master planned community of Ward Village, is required to allocate 20% of the condos they build for Hawaii owner-occupants who meet a maximum income limit. Ulana Ward Village is soon to be a vibrant, walkable community in the heart of Honolulu. With a mix of studios to 3-bedroom units, the building offers modern interiors, efficient layouts, and a lifestyle that blends convenience with island living.

Located near Kewalo Harbor, South Shore Market, and some of Oahu’s favorite surf breaks, Ulana residents will have easy access to parks, shops, food spots, and the ocean—without ever needing to get in their car.

The Closing Process in Motion

Many of these new homeowners are now navigating the exciting steps that come after you secure a unit:
âś… Finalizing financing
âś… Completing home inspections
âś… Signing documents
✅ And finally—moving in!

Seeing my client walk into his future home for the very first time was a powerful reminder of why I love what I do. This isn’t just about real estate—it’s about helping people build roots, gain stability, and create the life they’ve been working toward.
